How to Communicate With the OC

The Chef d’Equipe is responsible for any Communication with the OC on behalf of their team members. The OC regrets that individuals’ queries cannot be answered. All queries should be directed through the Chef d’Equipe.

Chef d’Equipe’s responsibilities with the OC:

  1. Ensure provisional travel dates are entered into the online entry system within stipulated deadlines.
  2. Circulate the details and e-tickets to the team members and confirm to the OC that this has been carried out.
  3. Submit entries with complete and accurate details from all team members. Entries will not be processed until the entire team information has been received.
  4. Allocate accommodation provided
  5. Ensure that Entry fees are submitted by the date of Definite Entries. NOTE: Definite Entries received without payment advice will not be accepted.
  6. Ensure that all invited horses hold a valid FEI Passport or a National Passport approved by the FEI accompanied by an FEI recognition cards as a means of identification and to establish the ownership.
  7. Ensure that all horses travelling to Malaysia are protected against Equine Influenza in accordance with import regulations of Malaysia and the FEI.
  8. Ensure that isolation, blood testing and vaccinations for import and return of horses are carried out and same information to be furnished to the appointed Shipping agent.
  9. Provide the OC with 145cm x 65cm National Flags (TWO flags) and the National Anthem on CD.
  10. Ensure that the team is aware of quarantine regulations and that they comply with the Standard Operating Procedures.
  11. Communicate with the Stable Manager on behalf of the team for all horse feed and bedding requirements. Horse feed requests from individuals will not be processed.
  12. Ensure that their team members adhere to the dress code.
